NOOO BRUNNOOO

HALAW!

Ello ello. Yes i've been lazy with the blogs. Sorrayyyy.

Today I went to Fi's house were she hosted her very first BFG meeting. WELL DONE MY LOVE! It involved lots of cupcakes and He's Just not that into you.

I just finished watching boy int he striped pyjamas. It was 100 times better and sadder than the book. Whoever invented tissues must have worked hand in hand with the director.

Thats all i have to say for today. I really should work on my artwork.

DO WE HAVE TIME FOR A MOVIE MONTAGE?

Feele bahic!

Sunday morning rain is pourin'

My BRUTHAS. Pretty eventful days.

Yesterday - Duy and I took the long commute to Ana banana's joint and joined her and her lovely friend Lalaine in a little musical festival of our own. Yes that involved me eating sausage rolls, recording the talented people and making some noise myself.

Today - The furious five adjourned to Sun Theatre to see 500 Days of Summer which was a beautiful movie aesthetically, but the plot was an emotional roller coaster - just how I like it.
We then went to town to get some disposable cameras and pancake mix. YUMMO.

Then it was back to Claude's to devour a good pocket full of money's worth.

AND THEN CAN YOU BELIEVE IT AFTER THAT, my sister came to pick me up to see Inglourious Basterds which was GORY AND AWESUM SAUCE UM. No I did NOT spell that wrong like I do everything else!

Getting lazy with the format of the blogs as you can tell.

Mother Hen

Gowwa!

Red red wine.

Yesterday I began my gym junkie regime. I'm going to the gym everyday these holidays. I don't care if I'm having a fat day - I'm getting toned for summer. I rode until I felt my gluteus maximus was a gluteus minimus. When the time I set for myself was up Day N Night came on so I said to myself "Hey, jsut stop when the song does". Unfortunately for my thighs the remix went on for longer than expected. The little moments where my hopes were raised, yearning for the song to finish, another set of 8 beats would pound through the speakers, forcing me to pedal closer to my untimely death.

I spent the rest of the day playing online video games with my nephews. They were rather complicated ACTUALLY. Then the rest of the night playing online MAHJONG with Claude and Isabel on the phone. I was complete silents with random spurts of anger -
"WHERES THE FUCKING LITTLE GRANDMA"
"WHY IS THIS GAME SO HARD"
"ALL THE ASIAN WORDS LOOK THE SAME"
"I HATE THE BAMBOO STICKS"
"FUCKING MAHJONG"

Today's gym visit was a little later, around dinner time. You know what the gym is like at dinner time? INFESTED WITH EGO. THAT'S RIGHT. I felt like a baby duck in a Lion's den in my little pink tank top.

I spent the day sleeping on the trampoline, separating my fighting nephews and feeding their bottomless pits. THEY. EAT. SO. MUCH. Eric is currently next to me eating out of a cereal box with a spoon. Yes, bottomless pit.

I've pretty much spent the whole of holidays so far at home, I guess you could say chillaxin'. Its kind of nice being almost alone.

I am currently teaching James to play online Mahjong. He's really getting the hang of it :)
Tomorrow I shall take them to see UP....THREE DIMENSIONAL. I really need to get out of the house.

Sad

Moino!

Finally took out my deb hair :)

Yep I finally took out my deb hair. It took approximately ten minutes. I video taped it for the fun of it. It wasn't pretty. I'm surprised it stayed curly the way it did. It usually straightens out in abut ten minutes.

Today I went to Bo De Trai with Claude in Footscrazy for lunch. Yummo :)

We then journeyed to Savers and posed in matching Christmas shirts.

Claude picked up her cage boots and we came back to mine to watch sex and the city movay.

I then facebooked the shit out of the evening. I'm so sad.

High Society

Moino!
Apalai (Brazil)

9 AM

10 AM

12 PM

Ladies and gentlemen, presenting Joanne Tran - A NEW WOMAN. Haha okay tad exaggeration but yesterday I did formally make my appearance to society. It was an absolute delight so let us begin.

9AM - I was all ready to meet my appointment with Anthony's at highpoint to get my hair dooded. I had a girl named Lisa who did a brilliant job with the mess that was my hair. She took less than an hour to put away all that hair I had. THANK YOU!

11 AM - I got to my city Myer on time to get my face painted. I had a beautiful man do my make up and he catered to everything I wanted and more AND he had these brilliant blue eyes too! Yes he was absolutely lovely - everyone at MAC were :) After that I was walking around, having people stare at me like I was a cake face.

12. 30 PM - We picked up Chu, came back to my place and got our gear on after examining the Gollum found in Panama and the snake with one claw.

2.30 PM - We were leaving Zab's place in a Limo. Some highlights of the ride included breaking a champagne glass and fixing my Hollywood tape which was a bitch to me all night.

I didn't stack it all night which was fantastic! I remembered my steps and everything! I found it really difficult going to the toilet though. I had to back into the cubical like a truck.

After a night of photos and blisters we retreated to Claud's place where cranberry ocktails and Ace Ventura waited for us :)

Thanks everyone for coming and being the best guests EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

AYE AYE CAP'IN

God dæg!

Debutante BEFORE.

HAPPY FIFTIETH BLOG :)

TOMORROW IS THE ST. ALOYSIUS DEBUTANTE AND THE FIFTH DEBUTANTE HAS JUST SOILED HERSELF.

Yes my friends tomorrow is the debutante, and I am unsure as to whether or not I will fall down the stairs or smudge my makeup. Toughie that one is.

I am currently using Mummia's foot spa :) I vibrates and makes the water hot. I am doing this so that my feet won't totally hate me for torturing them tomorrow.

Today was mercy day at school and what a beautiful day it was :) The sun was out, everyone was smiling - it was just fantastic. We had this rock eisteddfod as part of a new tradition but we didn't even win :( We were so good too! We had this Halloween theme, the tens danced to the monster mash, the elevens to ghostbusters and the twelves to the time warp! Damn judges.

At the end of the day they announced the position of the 2010 school captain. Well the announcement was a pleasant surprise for which I greatly thank the student body :)

I won't let you down girls :)

 Feele bahic!
Amele (Papua New Guinea)

Okay so whats going on with my fringe there? ANGST

Hiya guys! Okay so these past few weeks have perhaps been the most upsetting of my life. No seriously, they were really really effing shittay. But I won't go into that.

TODAY WE WENT TO HEALSVILLE SANCTUARY for biology! Yes it seems I've been on many biology excursions AND I HAVE! But this one was by far the best :) It was a long drive there and I fell asleep a few times which wasn't pretty.

We spent the day running around in the rain, looking at trees and watching birds do tricks. It was really fun :D I made the best decision to wear wellies today. I got to jump in puddles AND NO ONE ELSE COULD HEHE.

This afternoon I went with my sister to have a "consultation" with my hairdresser for Saturday and I got some "jewelery" for the "debutante" "." HAHA. Yes good day.

I must be off to do the deb memorabilia booklet....PAIN IN THE BEEPER.

SPEECH SPEECH SPEECH

 Négalinio!
Apinagé (Brazil)

You are the cat's pyjamas...and harry high pants.

Last night I was home alone with a pot of spaghetti, singing to myself and painting with water colours (as above). My parents had ditched me for a "grown ups" dinner and my grandma left me for some grandma thing, probably bingo.

I took full advantage and sung at the top of my lungs to bad music. T'was much fun.

Today I had to make my speech as a candidate for the school captain position. Mmm, I don't quite know if I was the crowd pleaser, I seemed to be the only one not so serious about the position. ANYWAYS.

WE went on this biology excursion again to Royal park but we were surprised to find that the lake we were supposed to analyse had dried up! We walked around investigating scats anyway (animal poopie) and guess what Madi found!!!!!!!!! A MYSTERIOUS BACKPACK WHERE THE LAKE USED TO BE :O!!! We seriously spent half an hour poking at the bag, finally opening it with big sticks to reveal a set of clothes... DEOW DEOW DEOW.......We had hoped there would be a rotting hand or a pile of money in the bag. OH WELL.

Yes that was the only exciting part of our day. Other than that I fell asleep on the tram with my mouth open on Isabel's shoulder and did the same thing on the couch at home.

Watch this space - SHIT THE BED

Said the weather wasn't better but she was doing fine.

Selam!
Amharic (Ethiopia, Israel, Egypt)

YES THEY ARE SHORTS :D

To keep the good weather alive I adorned a pair of blue denim shorts, pretending it was hot enough to get into summer gear. I was wrong but felt oh so good doing it anyways :)

I woke up in the best mood! I had done my tutor homework the night before and was in no rush. After tutor I went for a drive down to Mt. Alexander Rd and back which was nice because I'd like to think I'm getting pretty pro at driving :D And I may have just jinxed myself right then and there.
I came home and fully got into my art essay. As aforementioned, my teacher only checks her emails four in the PM on Sundays so by the time I got home, I had two solid hours to finish it off. At exactly 3. 50 I sent in my draft :)

I worked summore on my folio and finally got angry at my sketches and had some spaghetti mum left for me. EVERYONE went out tonight so I was home by myself which was nice :)

Nothing really left to say except - I hope the weather keeps up :)

Daydreamin'

Tiabo!

Banaban (Kiribati)

Daydream. I fell asleep beneath the flowers. For a couple'a hours. Such a beautiful day.

Ladies and gentlemen, let us take a moment to commend God for producing this FINE FINE WEATHER!!! Despite a few gusts of wind it was the PERFECT DAY - warm air without searing sunshine. Absolutely gorgeous. Anyone else agree?

This weather was just what I needed. For the first time I went out with less than three layers on it was brilliant. I took a trip to HP (H) to reduce my shopping list. It is exactly one week from deb and if this weather keeps up, it shall be a mighty fine day indeed.

I literally spent all night working on my folio because it brought me to a certain level of contentedness. For this reason I continued it in the morning while watching the Jonas Brothers' show (didn't even know they had one!). This afternoon I watched forgetting Sarah Marshall with my sIsTaHHH. It was so damn random!

Now I must work on my art essay because my teacher checks her emails at exactly four in the afternoon on Sundays and I need to get a draft in (L)

A+ A B+ B

 Bùschùr!
Alsatian (France)

BTW, FYI, I'm an A positive blood type. But that's not what the titles about. I'm really sick of grades and school and BAH! Yes BAH! I know everyone hates school and all, I honestly don't but the fact that I do right now concerns me. I can't even look forward to the holidays because I have a texts practice exam in the second week. Really just blah. I'm sorry I don't usually blog in these kinds of moods but I can't do anything but blog.

Anyways I'm working on some artwork because water colouring really is the only thing that is keeping me sane. For the first time I'm watching the 7pm program, this being the first time because its usually really shat. But they've been talking about the South African athlete Caster Semenya and her gender insecurities (hermaphrodite-ness). I'm rather intrigued, apparently she has no womb and no ovaries but both genitals? Mmm. The media are a weird bunch of people.
About today, I shall just extract the good parts - I had double art in the morning and played around with the water colour palette. Considering its the only aspect of school keeping me sane, I've put some thought into becoming an art teacher. But that is just one of the branches extending from my tired little brain at the moment.

For deb I have my hair booked at Anthony's at highpoint and my makeup at MAC in the city. The deb is in one week. Help me Lord.

I think my current FB status could be a blog post in itself.

CARN DOGGIES.

Oh no she di-ent.

Kahé!
Apsaaloke (Montana USA)

I look foul today so I found this old picture of Thidge and I. Miss those summer days where you could get way with wearing nothing :)

Okay so sorry guys I've really had a shitty few days (excuse my french). But some highlights shall follow.

Monday - We had deb practice at the actual reception and thank god Andrew couldn't make it because I would have spent the whole time whining about my hurty feet :( Hoepfully it will all come together and look nicer than it does now.

Tuesday - We had the Biology excursion! We got to go to the zoo and observed Meerkat behaviour :D They were absolutely adorable - the way they slept the way they huddled in the cold :D Of course after our observations it began to rain, so heavily in fact that we all bought
five dollar ponchos and ran back to school looking like bloated smurfs (refer to below image) :)

"Whaddup G?" - Monitoring Meerkats

:) Sleeping Meerkat

Cold Blue Meerkats

Yesterday I got my average Texts 3/4 score for Unit Three which was lovely. But my last sac got a horrendous score so I'll try my best to notch that back up :) No use crying over spilt milk.

Today we practiced our audition piece for soiree. Hopefully we get it together asap :)

I hope your weeks turned out a little better than mine. Well the first half was lovely, the second half traumatic (tad exaggeration). I'm just getting a little sick of the high school girl bitching scene. Holla if you hear me.

BROCOLLI CREAM

[person's name]...he!
Ainu (Japan) (Hahaha!!)

When Lan first got the label maker, I labelled everything.

So Father's daystarted off relatively early, 7.00 in the AM to be exact. Even though I didn't start tutor till 9.00 I got up to drive my gran to the temple which is situated right next to my school which held my biology exercise book which I really needed :| So I drove, yes I drove the car to school and snuck in :)

Before I left home I put Dadda's present in their room and once again snuck out. I did an awful lot of sneaking today. In the school I was thinking about that episode the Simpsons where every things stolen and grandpas like "He was wearing sneakers, for sneaking". But I was actually wearing click clacky boots which ruined the whole idea.

Tutor was a bit poopie, in methods we had a test but since I wasn't there for the first few weeks I probably failed :D! But yes I dad asked me if I did it or not and how I found it. I told him it was okay, there were obviously things I'd missed because of my absence but my teacher was fine with that. And then he gave me that "My friend's kid" lecture. So despite being fathers day I totally answered back and was like IT WASN'T BORN AND NEW HOW TO DO MATHS OKAY. Then mum laughed and it was all better.

I've done some study for my bio sac tomorrow and ate some cake :)

BYE

Three days Grace

Dagot'ee!
Apache (Arizona)

He obviously loves me styling his hair.

OKAY. I KNOW. I'M A LAZY ASSHOLE. I haven't blogged for while but hey this just means the summary of the days will be short and sweet :D

I don't even remember Thursday. But from what I can remember we had a very dysfunctional deb meeting. We had to do a re-vote about whether we have tails and bows or ties. Quite hectic really but a least its over. To see the verdict just come to deb, or be a cheapo and wait for photos. Which reminds me, people coming please bring me your money on Monday. I'll try to be at MC after school.

Yesterday I had my Texts sac which I may have failed miserably :D THEN double art which was lovely. I'm really looking forward to making this section of my folio really good and hence (hopefully) having good final piece. I finished fourth period so we proceeded to take photos for Isabel's art work. At MC we bought some jumbo Oporto chips (DRIBBLE AND DROOL) and talked about awkward moments like running for the bus and pretending you weren't when you miss it and everyone's watching. I came home and thought the dreary weather may be upsetting my bunny. So I gave him a bath to make him even more upset (as above) TEE HEE. Then I was so excited about art that I continued to work on my folio...summore :)

Today I took at drive to HP to get some new runners and Hollywood tape for my deb dress. The runners have a bit of pink on them so I look like a girlie gym junkie when I wear them. I made a poor attempt at exercising today. The new arch support was a bit too much for me to handle so I was on the treadmill for like 10 minutes and moved to another machine that didn't require feet. Then I did about half an hour of floor exercises :) (DRIBBLE AND DROOL) haha I'm kidding....OR AM I :) I was really tired while driving around after that and I think dad became really concerned so we came home. I put on Charlie's Angels and fell asleep.

For the love of ya.

Yatasay!
Apache (Arizona USA)

Cousin It and Thing (really bad photo :S)

About the photo - I'm sure you're wondering "So what the f*** has the b**** done with her **** now? (if you can fill in the stars I will give you a kiss :) ) NOTHING IS THE ANSWER! I can not wait until deb is over so I can get my fringe back :| Right now its at no man's land, I might try the indie middle part since I can't do much else. LETS OLSEN TWIN ITS ASS.

Okay so yesterday was POSY DAY! A bunch of us, as part of community service, volunteered at the Royal Melbourne Hospital to participate in POSY DAY! We arranged posies, wrapped them, and brought them around to patients at the hospital. T'was an unbelievably rewarding experience. I came across a blind young woman who couldn't really see the flowers so I poorly described them to her which made me very very sad but her very very happy :) There were so many people I wanted to stay and chat to but I wasn't allowed :(

THEN we got to be on the 5.30 weather report with Mike Larkin (as below) on Channel 10 which was a total bonus for the school Hahaha. We held the Posies we made and I taught a cute old man Sudoku :) We all had to make really fake smiles :D ALSO Kim Michelle and I get to be in the Leader newspaper SO WATCH OUT FOR THAT! Once again, uber phony smiles with a sweet old lady :D

"Fine and SUNNY"

Today was much like every other. During lunch, myself and the lovely Ana and Ezra practiced our piece for Soiree AND IT WAS MORE DIFFICULT THAN I THOUGHT :| So we gotta work on that. Then I took my appointment with Red Cross and gave my share of blood. It bruised a little more this time BUT THAT'S OKAY.

DEB IS STRESSING ME OUT. GUEST LIST IS ANNOYING :|
